It’s completely normal to experience a little redness, tingling, or sensitivity after your treatment—many people describe it as feeling similar to a mild sunburn. You may also notice some itchiness or irritation over the next few days, which is a natural part of the peeling process.

If at any point you feel extreme discomfort, swelling, or intense redness, please stop using the homecare products and contact us right away so we can guide you through the next steps.

Peeling usually begins around Day 3 and can last up to a week. In some rare cases, light peeling may continue for up to two weeks. Everyone’s skin is different, and we’ll be checking in to ensure your progress is on track.

No need to worry about that! Once applied in the salon, you simply leave the masque on for the time advised. After that, gently remove it with lukewarm water and your fingertips, just as we’ll show you.

If the masque starts to feel too uncomfortable, it’s okay to gently remove it using tepid water and your fingers—no scrubbing. Follow with a spritz of UltraCalming Mist, and contact us. We’ll assess your skin virtually (a photo is always helpful!) and guide you through your next steps. If your skin is just a little flushed, you may still continue the program with a few adjustments. If you’re experiencing a stronger reaction, we may need to pause your treatment and reassess in person.

For safety reasons, the Melanopro Peel System is not recommended during pregnancy or while nursing.

Yes, but only if you're committed to following all sun protection and aftercare instructions. For best results, we generally recommend starting this treatment in the cooler months when sun exposure is lower - but with proper care, it can be done in summer too.

To ensure you get the best possible results, we recommend following the Melanopro homecare system exactly as prescribed. Using other serums or active products can interfere with the treatment and slow your progress. Think of this as a focused skin reset - trust the process and let the products work their magic!
